Lufthansa Systems continues upward trend
In business year 2003, Lufthansa Systems managed to generate revenues
of 610.7 million euros despite the continuing pressure on costs and
the unfavorable investment climate in the airline industry. Compared
with the previous year, sales generated with customers outside the
Lufthansa Group rose by over 20 percent. The pre-tax result came to
42.9 million euros.

Lufthansa Systems and Finnair further expand their successful cooperation
Both partners today announced that they have signed a five-year contract
for the use of ProfitLine/Price. The integrated software solution
from Lufthansa Systems will support Finnair with the airline's entire
pricing processes.

ebase and COMINVEST Munich outsource IT Goal: To reduce costs and
focus on core competencies
The European Bank for Fund Services GmbH (ebase) and Cominvest Asset
Management GmbH (COMINVEST) in Munich will outsource large parts of
their IT infrastructure. Starting in April, Lufthansa Systems will
take over the operation of 175 ebase servers and the management of
some 450 workplaces. In this context, Lufthansa Systems will collaborate
in setting up a data center in Munich and establish a central user
helpdesk. Application development will remain with the ebase bank.

Lufthansa Systems introduces new online booking solution
African airline Kenya Airways today announced that their complete
fleet will migrate for navigation to electronically generated Lido
Route Manual. Charts no longer have to be drawn manually; instead,
Lido Route Manual generates them from a database that contains geographic
and aeronautical information from all over the world, resulting in
improved quality and increased security.
