Ryanair and Lufthansa Systems sign 10-year deal for network planning
“It was important for us to find an IT service provider whom we can rely on to support our ambitious growth goals in the long term," says Brady Warwick, Ryanair's deputy director of Operations. "That is why we signed a 10-year deal for the network planning solution of Lufthansa Systems.”
A Lufthansa Systems customer since 1994, Ryanair can use the integrated NetLine product line to optimize all of its resource planning and control processes. The low-cost carrier also selected Lufthansa Systems as its long-term, strategic IT partner to rely on in the future. In order to reach its growth targets, Ryanair needs state-of-the-art IT solutions which are scalable enough to fulfil the airline's growing requirements and at the same time reflect Ryanair's continued cost-consciousness.
NetLine is currently used successfully in day-to-day operations by more than 50 airlines, who benefit from the solution's great efficiency, safety and usability. The low-cost airline has deployed NetLine/Sched (schedule management/route and flight planning), NetLine/Ops (operations control) and NetLine/Crew (crew management). |
