Styrian Spirit opts for network management solution from Lufthansa Systems
The Austrian airline has selected two NetLine products that are especially designed to
support small to mid-size airlines. Using the NetLine solutions will enable the carrier
to optimize its resource planning and control processes. Accounting-relevant data is
matched with production data from NetLine/Ops to guarantee an effective, reliable, and
highly flexible analysis of route profitability. The additional module MaintenanceControl
creates a link between NetLine/Ops and different maintenance and engineering systems.
Furthermore, the entire crew management process, covering all phases from pairing
construction to crew rostering to crew tracking and post-flight activities, will be
supported by NetLine/Crew.
Styrian Spirit is the second airline to take advantage of NetLine as an AirSP service,
thus relying on Lufthansa Systems' high security data center in Frankfurt/Main for quick
and easy data access via the Internet. AirSP significantly reduces IT costs and enables
Styrian Spirit to benefit from low and flexible operating costs ("start low and pay as
you grow") and from calculable and transparent pricing.
